WHAT IS?
Roll-down shutters are made of aluminum, which makes them a very safe hurricane protection, in addition to completely blocking outside light, making them ideal for resting places.
One of the great advantages of this type of protection is that they can be lowered either manually by a hand crank or automatically by push button for greater comfort, and lock in place for storm protection.
Hurricane shutters can be configured with different types of aluminum slats; the level of resistance depends on these slats; therefore, it is important to choose slats that support a minimum of 300 km/hr winds.
