WHAT IS?
Hurricane screens offer a highly reliable protection.
In addition to being very reliable, they are one of the most economical and discreet protection solutions available, with minimal effect on the aesthetics of your house or building.
They are made of geo-synthetic polypropylene, a resistant material that protects against winds of up to 380 km/hr.
This material is 95% solid and 5% porous, making it translucent. It prevents the passage of rain, wind and dangerous projectiles thrown by hurricanes; however, it does allow visibility to the outside, preventing the feeling of being completely enclosed.
Tests have shown that it is one of the best options in terms of protection against hurricanes.
It is a fairly flexible system which enables it to be installed in areas where other types of protection would be difficult to install.
Easy to install and requires no maintenance except to rinse them out with fresh water in order to avoid odor retention and to let them dry before storing them for reuse.
